This version makes plenty of improvements to the
PaigeOS 2000 project
- A brand-new wallpaper and startup sound!
- An enhanced Recycling Bin/Explorer window (it also acts as a very rudimentary web browser)
- Better borders* and title bar buttons
- Custom scrollbars (note: very unfinished and a bit broken, and also Chromium only for now)
- A proper social media embed (which uses the image above)
- Some populated Start Menu items and power options
- Many behind-the-scenes changes
- And probably more things that I forgot. Possibly even a little secret that may or
may not be on this exact
page as well…
*: Borders do not look correct in Firefox due to a bug that has been unresolved for 26 years. Sorry. Use Chromium or Safari until I get around to fixing this.
Fun fact!At the time of release, the project
page features things that are not actually in PaigeOS 2000 itself yet. They will make it there very soon, though!

perf: strip CSS copyright headers from builds
Replace /*! comments in SCSS files with /* to avoid having many copyright headers included in builds.
